Luxury Autos: Bugatti Automobiles is celebrating these days 100 years since the birth of the famous brand. To mark the special event, the company is preparing some 4 wheels surprises for the Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza taking place on 25/26 of April. The centenary company will reveal no less than four Bugatti Veyron developed in the memory of the glorious period in the racing history of the company.
A period which was vital for the expansion and the recognition of Bugatti's high brand profile and famous image. All four models were painted in different racing colors representing the important countries: blue for France, green for Great Britain, red for Italy and white for Germany. The four new Veyrons have a predecessor in the body of Bugatti type 35 -- the company's most legendary racing car. The four 35s are representatives for the generation of the glorious Bugatti Grand Prix racers registering numerous victories in the 1920s with the world's most famous drivers at the moment. It is the reason why today's Bugatti Veyron's successors have been named after them: Jean-Pierre Wimille for the blue Veyron, Achille Varzi for the red, Malcolm Campbell for the green and Herrmann zu Leiningen for the white model.
