Luxury Cars: BMW's new 5 Series Gran Turismo provides drivers with style, space, luxury and sportiness.

The 5 Series Gran Turismo blends the style of a coupe with the elegance of a sedan in a seamless union of elegance and luxury. Easily recognizable as a BMW, the 5 Series Gran Turismo features a long wheelbase and graceful roofline boasting new elements, including an elongated hood. The sporty new style features four doors with frameless windows, the BMW "kidney-shaped" grill and round headlights. For the first time, BMW has employed LED technology in the lights.

On the inside, the 5 Series Gran Turismo features ample space and generous proportions as well as contemporary style. BMW's frameless door design helps lend a feeling of extra spaciousness to the cabin, making for comfortable travel. An extra hint of luxury is found in the moonroof, which is standard on the US model. Rear seating accommodates up to three passengers, with legroom on the scale of BMW's 7 Series Sedan and headroom comparable to the BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicle. Both seats and backrests are adjustable, and the optional Luxury Rear Seating Package includes multi-adjustable power seats, separated by a center console with cupholders and a storage compartment with a power fold down seat function.

The new BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo plays on BMW's heritage of performance and takes it to the next level of efficiency with some new features. A twin turbo V-8 engine delivers 400 hp and 5.4 second 0-60-mph time, while it maintains an impressive fuel efficiency for a high performance vehicle. The new engine, a turbo-charged V-8 enhances all performance features, making for greater power and torque delivered over a wide range of operating conditions with greater fuel efficiency.

The ultimate driving machine, the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo can be made even more luxurious with different packages and options, but the standard model is more fully equipped than ever before.
