Donsuemor Madeleines: Gourmet Desserts on the Go

Fine Dining: These French cakes may be the tastiest gift idea for this of this holiday season. The Donsuemor line of premium-baked goods is putting smiles on faces nationwide. People are raving about the flavorful gourmet mini-desserts nationwide. This is a company that began in a residential kitchen in Berkeley, Cal., that has grown to an operation that today produces 15,000 madeleines per hour from its bakery in Alameda, Cal. While the organization has grown substantially from its humble beginnings, its recipe for success has remained intact from day one.

Granted there are similar tiny cakes aplenty on the market, these are special. Donesuemor's madeleines are free of preservatives and additives, contain no trans fats, and are certified kosher as well. These soft and moist little shell-shaped cakes, which are baked fresh and wrapped individually, are available in five variants: traditional, dipped traditional, lemon zest, chocolate and dipped chocolate.

While there are avowals of approval from publications such as, The New York Times, the best test for rating Donsuemor's superior tastiness is quite simple. Put a box on a table at a social gathering and watch see how long it takes for that box to empty. A second box of samples had to be requested here for me to do this short report.

There is movie that was released in 2000 titled Gone In Sixty Seconds that starred Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie. Nanosecond would have been a fitting one-word description to convey about how long that first box of Donsuemors lasted in this office. I had the second box delivered to my home.

Donsuemors are available online at the company's website and at prominent retailers nationwide.
