Photo Courtesy of Ritz-Carlton, Dove MountainAs summer heats up at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain in Arizona, the property has introduced Splash Dining for an entirely new al fresco experience.
The new in-the-pool dinner setting gets wet with the legs of diners, servers, chairs and tables refreshingly immersed in the property's elegant pool. A great way for both gourmands and outdoor adventurers to enjoy the popular water recreation offering of The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain.
Splash Dining is offered at the romantic, night-lighted Turquesa Pool. Diners are told to come in shorts or short pants and check their shoes at the door (which is much easier than struggling through a slippery-floored restaurant in stilettos). As the experience begins, diners wade through shallow waters to tables, also partially submerged. They can then wiggle their toes and relax as wading waiters serve elegant meals and dessert is presented by a chef wearing the aquatic version of chef's whites.
The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain resort is located in the high Sonoran Desert and has plenty of water recreation for guests looking to unwind, including multiple swimming pools, a 235-foot-long water slide, weekend Cosmic Slide parties, and a spa serenity pool complete with full-service cabanas and a mid-pool tanning island. In addition, the beautiful canyon property also has a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, destination spa as well as adventure programming, world-class hiking and other activities.
The once-in-a-lifetime culinary resort experience includes a pre-reservable three-course menu including Champagne toast and is priced at $300 per couple. Visit RitzCarlton.com to learn more.
