November 10th is about 12 days from Thanksgiving, and it’s pre-party time for Monterey Wine lovers. The event will be hosted in the Del Monte Aviation Center’s private luxury hangar from 1-4 pm. Due to the classiness of the event, it’s totally acceptable to drink that early. The “Party in the Hangar” is a showcase of Monterey’s diverse wineries and locally-sourced dishes.

The event is described as “an ideal opportunity for wine and cuisine-lovers to witness the exceptional quality of flavors from Monterey Wine Country;” there will be 10 local restaurants represented and over 40 local wineries.

VIP tickets include caviar and early entry at 11:45 for those of who can’t wait until one. The VIP ticket is $95, while the $60 advance purchase tickets still get you all the food and wine of Monterey County as well as a cooking demonstration by celebrity chef Todd Fisher. Designated driver tickets however seem to be the best deal, at only $30 with an endless supply of water and soft drinks.
