The thought of privately dining in the home of a gourmet chef can make a foodie's heart flutter. Now, imagine two chefs living in a penthouse at Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living in London, giving you that rare "at home" experience you've always dreamed of. That's exactly what's going to happen from March 31 to April 4, when chefs Simon Hulstone and Robert Wiedmaier move into the apartment for an exclusive pop-up dining experience called Chef's Penthouse.

Guests (14 per service) will be treated to an eight course tasting menu and unlimited access to the chefs, allowing you to check out the cooking process and get some tips and tricks. Wines from all over the world will be supplied by Ellis of Richmond, paired perfectly with the dishes. Of course, since you're hanging out in one of the biggest penthouses in London, you will have plenty of time to relax as if you live there. You can enjoy canapés on the terrace and some conversation with the chefs once the meal is over and done with.

Hulstone is one of the UK's most well respected chefs, having gotten his start during his school days. He's won several awards, including the Roux scholarship for young chefs and the National Chef of the Year award in 2008, and helped The Elephant in Torquay get a Michelin star in 2006. "I'm delighted to be given the opportunity to serve delicious south-west produce, much of it sourced from our very own farm, in such a wonderful location," says Hulstone. "London is a fantastic place to dine and I always enjoy cooking here. Chef's Penthouse at Grosvenor House Apartments is particularly exciting and I look forward to showcasing the flavours of Devon in this relaxed yet luxurious setting."

Wiedmaier is no slouch either, having been named Washington's Chef of the Year by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington. He owns the award-winning restaurant Marcel's, known for its refined French cuisine and consistent high ratings for fine dining. “I am extremely excited to be taking part in the Chef’s Penthouse at Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living. What a treat to be able to interact with our guests in such an amazing setting," says Wiedmaier.

Tickets cost £250 ($415) a person for lunch and £275 ($457) for dinner.
