 Food & Spirits: The next move in saving the planet is coming from boxed, not bottled water. Boxed Water is Better is, "part sustainable water company, part art project, part philanthropic project, and completely curious." The water in a carton is a result of trying to find a bottled water that wouldn't make as big an impact on the environment as the typical water bottle and along the way, the discovery was made that Boxed Water is Better.
The carton is made from 85 percent responsibly harvested trees and continue to be environmentally responsible by being shipped flat to filling facilities, saving money and energy. After enjoying the carbon-filtered, purified water from Minnesota, the cartons can then be broken down and recycled at any of the Carton Council facilities in the nation.
Currently, Boxed Water is Better can be found at various eateries around the nation including the luxurious Standard hotel in downtown Los Angeles, with continual plans to expand and be more readily available.
