Home Entertainment: It is a whole new dimension! Playing games with Nintendo's Wii console transforms players into on-screen characters. It is like falling through the looking glass and entering a new world. Ace the serve; drive the fairways; hit a homerun; knock down the six-ten split; and score a knockout. Tennis, golf, baseball, bowling, and boxing are included in the sports bundle that comes with a Wii console. This is more than a high-tech toy. It is an interactive home-entertainment system for players of all ages. Some of the greatest video games ever produced are available to download through Wii's Virtual Console.

The WiiConnect24 service enables the console to download game updates and sends "surprises" through the Internet even when the console is off. The wireless remote control, which operates via Bluetooth technology, attaches to the wrist and is used with the system's Nunchuk, enabling players to perform complex functions of various games with fluidity. Up to four remote controls can be used at one time, and players can be positioned up to 30 feet away from the screen.

An entire Wii system includes a console, a sensor bar, a Wii remote control, a Nunchuk, a Will sports disc, a console stand, an AC adapter, and an AV cable. Additional accessories include a Classic Controller, extras wireless remote controls, and Nunchuks. Having a Classic Controller substantially increases the number of classic games available on different platforms to Wii owners.

Wii is a virtual network of games that will continue to grow like a blue-chip investment. Its entertainment value will soar over the years. There are forums, newsletters, fan sites, and the Nintendo Power Magazine.

Wii is the future now.
