Luxury Electronics: The BlackBerry Bold is RIM's latest fruity-name smartphone. The upscale mobile-communications device is targeted toward business professionals and power users. It is the first of the abundantly fruitful line to support tri-band HSDPA high-speed networks around the world. It also has integrated GPS, Wi-Fi and multimedia capabilities.
In a recent press release, Mike Lazaridis, president and co-CEO of RIM conveyed, "The new BlackBerry Bold represents a tremendous step forward in business-grade smartphones and lives up to its name with incredible speed, power and functionality, all wrapped in a beautiful and confident design."
The BlackBerry Bold is resourceful and stylish. It fits the bill as both an attention-grabbing accessory and a personal-communication device that rings, sings, surfs the Net, snaps photographs, and broadcasts videos. The full QWERTY keyboard is an additional convenience. Additionally, users can talk while sending or receiving email or accessing the Web.
The brainy phone also includes 128 MB Flash memory, one GB on-board storage memory, and a micro SD/SDHC memory card slot that is accessible from a side door.
The BlackBerry Bold is scheduled to be available via wireless carriers worldwide by summer 2008. For more information, check out www.BlackBerryBold.com.
