Looking for the Right TV?

Luxury Electronics: Why is it so darn difficult anyway? The decision-making process is harder than ever with the influx of options on big-screen televisions. Many consumers are simply confused, perplexed, or in search of sufficient information to correctly connect the dots and make a choice that fits their circumstances. Toshiba is trying to offer some guidance to assist or steer buyers with too many choices in the right direction with a new Web site called FindtheRightTV.com.

The company is eliminating the guesswork by asking prospective buyers a series of questions to define wants, needs, and expectations from their television. The preliminary questions seek to determine viewing preferences and time spent watching or playing with the magic box. Once it is determined whether you are a movie buff, a sports freak, or an insatiable video-game player, budget and style are clarified and then recommendations are offered. If the suggestions do not fit the bill, more qualifying questions are asked to hone in on an ideal match.

You can even download a picture of the room where the television is going and, virtually, see how it fits. Of course, all models suggested are from the amazing new Toshiba's Regza LCD HDTV line. But if you complete the survey, you will have more info to make a well-informed decision.

Check it out at FindtheRightTV.com.

Absolutely helpful in more ways than one. I started off shopping for a larger TV and found I only need more clarity and better sound, I did so dread the idea of an overwhelming size and have no more worries. Great --Great service unlike the usual electronic purchases I'm truly satisfied.
