Luxury Electronics:There are many reasons why one notebook computer is selected over another model. That is probably why there are so many to choose from in the marketplace. Some may like the feel of the keyboard or the view offered by the screen. Others may need more memory or storage space. If anyone really knew why people pick one model over another with 100 percent assurance, a new millionaire, actually, a soon-to-be billionaire, would be among us. So, while so many notebook-computer manufacturers focus on the technological capabilities of these wondrous little machines, why not release one for style and decorum at the forefront for a change?
That is the story on the soon to be released three-pound ASUS S6F. The unit's most distinguishable or standout feature is that the outer shell and wrist-rest area are covered in leather. But it is very nice, supple leather that comes in two shades of brown, camel and chocolate brown. It also features polished keys and jeweled hinges. However, do keep in mind that this is not a trite lightweight machine to be summarily dismissed for frivolity. It easily appeases or exceeds most users' needs quite effectively with its 100-gigabyte hard drive and 1.6 GHZ Intel Core Duo L2400 processor. It also has a full gig of DDR2 RAM and a multi-format DVD writer. It just happens to resemble a huge, retro cigarette case.
And it has that new-car smell too!
