Luxury Electronics: It came as no surprise that when Motorola wanted to glitz out its RAZR V3i that a call was placed to the glamorous team of Domenico and Stefano to add the D&G magic. These guys could make cat litter glitter. So, ascending a streamline, renowned luxury cell phone to jewelry-level status would be a golden opportunity for them to leave another mark of distinction.
The D&G limited edition RAZR V3i appears to have been dipped in gold. It features the exclusive Dolce & Gabbana logo, wallpaper, screensaver and sounds. Each of the 1,223 produced are specially numbered and available only at D&G boutiques. The RAZR V3i offers a 1.23 mega-pixel digital camera, iTunes music software with a mini-USB stereo headset, airplane mode, and a swappable MicroSD memory card. It uses Class 1 Bluetooth technology and offers a wide variety of game options. And thanks to D&G, it is now part of a glorious ensemble of must-have accessories for "luxurists" worldwide.
For D&G, trailblazing is the only area of predictability of Hollywood's perennial favorite designers. The Milan-based firm displays its patriotism by designing the formal uniforms Italy's National football (soccer) team will wear in the upcoming 2006 FIFA World Cup, which is being held in Dortmund, Germany. Nice job, gentlemen.
