Technology giant Microsoft, who led the pack with motion technology, will be getting a run for their money with the introduction of a new gesture-based piece of equipment from Leap Motion. This ultimate electronic, christened The Leap, is about the size of a pack of gum and can be plugged into a computer?s USB connection to create a four-cubic-foot workspace. Within this area, The Leap allows micro-movements to be charted and stored in its memory. Leap Motion is claiming that its new product can simultaneously track all ten fingers? movements within 1/100 of a millimeter, making it 200 times more accurate than anything currently on the market.
