If you just bought Apple's iPad 3, you may be a bit irritated to find out that your shiny new luxury gadget is now outdated thanks to the iPad 4 and iPad Mini. The iPad 4 isn't really that different from the previous generation but we all have that little voice in our head that whispers to us, telling us how much shinier the new one is and how we need to keep up with technology.

While the iPad 4 isn't much of a change, aside from the new A6X chip, which is also used in the iPhone 5, the iPad Mini may be something you want to add to your arsenal of luxury gadgets regardless as to whether you have the larger counterparts. According to Huffington Post, the Mini is measured at 7.9 inches from corner to corner and will be in direct competition with tablets from Amazon, Google, and Samsung. Apparently, as a way to show their superiority, Apple's senior VP of worldwide marketing Phil Schiller even compared the Mini to the Nexus 7, pointing out all the ways Apple's tablet is better (like the superior app choices and lighter weight).
