Celebrity interior designer Shayne Smith has just finished Hayden Panettiere's Hollywood Hills home and is continuing to bring her fabulous rock 'n' roll aesthetic around the world.
Amongst her accolades, Shayne Smith, who trained at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago for Interior Architecture and Design, is her work with renowned design firm Hirsh Binder, and her award-winning work at the Dancing Bear Resort in Aspen. More recently, Smith created a very unique chair, winning the Golden A' Design Award for the Furniture, Decorative Items and Homeware Design Category.

The chair uses the design concept of Melange, which fuses together both materials and techniques, for a unique, fluid design. Her design of sleek chair was inspired by the futuristic fantasy film, "Underworld."
Smith explains, “Truthfully, I was watching the movie 'Underworld Evolution' and I thought to myself, ‘I really like that character but I wish he was sitting in a better chair’. Something more suitable; more vampires meet 2050. I incorporated this spark, with my love for the 17th Century Italian Design, to come up with this piece.”

She has also created original pieces, including leather pillows for celebrity clients, including "Heroes" actress Hayden Panettiere.
“When I first saw this pillow I fell in love with it. It’s originality, texture, and shape is so impressive. I love the contrast of the very masculine fabric with the sweet and delicate flower..." says Hayden Panettiere.

Smith is now expanding on her leather pillow design to create a Rock N' Roll pillow line featuring rare, never seen images of Kate Moss, Jimmy Hendrix and Naomi Campbell.
