Zenith's Defy Xtreme: Live the Dream
Exclusive Timepieces: Zenith Swiss Manufacture produces extraordinarily made wristwatches for extraordinary people. These haute finely jeweled time-keeping instruments define the wearers' status as one whose dreams are on parity with their reality. The Defy Xtreme collection is comprised of nine limited-edition watches. The four DX models are the Open, the Tourbillon, the Chronograph, and the Power Reserve.
The Open is presented in Gold & Titanium, Stealth, and El Primero versions. The Open El Primero Gold & Titanium has 248 components, 39 jewels, and a 55-hour power reserve. It comes in a black titanium case with a rotating bezel. It has a helium valve, a screw-in crown, and gold push-pieces with carbon-fiber inserts. Its multilayered dial is made of shock-resistant glass, carbon fiber and black varnished aluminum. The brushed rose gold and titanium bracelet is specially reinforced with carbon fiber, composite materials, and Kevlar lateral inserts. An organic rubber strap and a leather strap also are offered.
The bridge of the Defy Xtreme Tourbillon is a helicoidal disk, meaning that it is arranged in a flat spiral formation. The precision of the intricate instrumentation is viewable through a see-through face. Its case diameter is 46.5 millimeters. The DX Tourbillon has a look of extreme craftsmanship and artistic fluidity. The Power Reserve and Chronograph models are equally stunning and mechanically detailed. All nine models are water-resistant up to 1,000 meters.
