Luxury Accessories: Electricity bill, $79. Writing out the check with a $5,500 pen, priceless.
A Girard-Perregaux's watch is synonymous with luxury. It comes as no surprise that Girard-Perregaux's line of pens carry such hefty pricetags and feature 18k gold and preciouse gems. Inspired by the bridge of the Three Gold Bridges Tourbillon watch, this high-end pen has a rounded square shape made of Havana celluloid. Each pen contains a ruby in the clip and is engraved with the brand name. In addition, each pen is numbered and comes with a miniature desk-styled box containing a bottle of premium ink and pad of paper.
While this fancy writing utensil costs as much as some people's cars, it makes no promises other than it will produce ink - so, if you were hoping it to help in the creativity or ingenuity department, you're out of luck ... although you may impress a few folks "in the know," which always works in your favor. If $ $5,500 is entirely too rich for your blood, the Tourbillon Sterling LE ($1,819-$3,179) is an excellent choice.
