About a year ago, Gibson, the guitar-making company most famous for the legendary Les Paul and SG models, introduced the revolutionary Robot Guitar, a guitar with self-tuning technology, as a limited-edition 4,000-unit release. It sold out in days after its debut, leaving a slew of frothing guitarist panting at the counter for their Robot.

The wait is over, as the second wave of Gibson Robot guitars with self-tuning technology is here. There are Robot Les Paul and Robot SG models in very vibrant colors, including Red Metallic. Tuning is breezy and as simple as following a few directions on an instructional video. It is so simple even a writer can do it.
