Moscow's Millionaire Fair

Leisure: The Millionaire Fair is the largest collection of luxury lifestyle essentials, all coming together in the same place at the same time.

The Millionaire Fair was founded five years ago in Amsterdam as an event for advertisers and readers of the Miljonair magazine. The event has since grown to become the best-known luxury exhibition in Europe. Now, the event displays the finest luxury goods the world has to offer in addition to entertainment.

The Millionaire Fair took place in Moscow 2008 at the Crocus-Expo and was organized in co-operation with publishing house Independent Media Sanoma Magazines.

The Millionaire Fair Moscow 2008 included a special, invitation only VIP event in addition to a Gala Opening and was open to all who enjoy the finer things in life. International and Russian exhibitors at the event included all aspects of the luxury goods, from food and liquor to cars, jewelry, apparel, furniture, and more. The 250 exhibitors at the event included: General Motors, Harper's Bazaar Magazine, INOCHI, a luxury fur company, as well as Sony electronics and array of other international and Russian product and service companies.

When asked about Sony's involvement in the Millionaire Fair, Tsutomu Hamaguchi. Marketing director of Sony Electronics CIS, responded, "Concerning premium class products Sony is always trying to be like no other. Luxury is not only stars and gold. We believe that the really top class product is that one that meets all demands of a customer and even anticipate it. And other very important component of a luxury product is emotion. We propose our customers to feel the product, to enter product into their lives and to make it a part of their lifestyle. Participating in Millionaire Fair this year Sony will demonstrate its best solution in sound and video quality, size, functionality, color, design and emotion."

The event was covered by magazines from around the world, including Rolling Stone and attended by a record-breaking 50,000 people for the 4-day event.

Look for this year's next Millionaire Fair in Istanbul this November.

Every item is handmade in Italy in strictly limited quantities, and is the result of "obsessive research into fabrics, materials and details." Delta Is First U.S. Airline to Offer Wi-Fi Access

Luxury Amenities: Delta is going to offer broadband Wi-Fi access on its entire domestic fleet beginning in 2009. The service will be made available to more than 330 Delta aircraft. It is the most expansive in-flight broadband offering of any U.S. carrier to date. The service will be offered to all passengers flying in first class or economy.

Delta has aligned with Aircell to install its Gogo mobile broadband network that will enable Delta patrons with Wi-Fi enabled devices to access the Internet, corporate VPNs, corporate and personal e-mail accounts, as well as SMS texting and instant messaging services.

LuxeVegas: Cirque du Soleil announces tickets are now on sale for LOVE Tapis Rouge, an exclusive virtual behind-the-scenes psychedelic experience. Beginning June 26, 2008, Tapis Rouge patrons will be introduced to the world of The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil, while immersed in the ultimate VIP sensory experience at The Beatles REVOLUTION Lounge.
