Proceeds will benefit four of the world’s leading environmental nonprofits which include, Oceana, Conservation International (CI), Central Park Conservancy (CPC), and Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Specifically for water conservation projects central to each organization, and the total amount raised will be revealed on Earth Day, April 22, 2012.
Christie’s is also hosting an exclusive, live Green Auction Gala on April 11 in New York City with generous support from JW Marriott. The event is an invitation-only affair, co-chaired by the likes of Salma Hayek and Graydon Carter, with live music by Grace Potter.
