Racecar Driving Class: The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving makes all of its students better drivers. This is more than just an adrenaline rush for thrill seekers. But if a student's objective is to drive a racecar as fast as possible, the course instructors can make that happen, too. The school has been in business for over 38 years. Many celebrities and professional athletes have spent time here. However, what is most impressive is the number of professional drivers who have come through here. The list of recognizable professional drivers of NASCAR, Formula One, CART, IRL, and NHRA Drag Racing who have studied here is an excellent endorsement.

Driving courses are varied and range from advanced teenage driving to advanced road racing. Most courses have up to 12 pupils per class, and the students-to-instructor ratio is three to one. The Grand Prix Road Racing course is the school's most popular class. It is a three-day program where participants are taught maximum car control. Students drive race-ready Corvette C5s and F-1 styled Formula Bondurants. A regional SCAA license can be obtained upon successful completion of this class.

Classes are offered in driving safety, high-performance driving, racing courses, and military and executive security. The racetrack is 1.6 miles and has 15 turns. Additionally, there is an 8-acre asphalt pad where advanced-driver training exercises are conducted. The school has over 200 cars available. It is possible to take a class using a personal vehicle. All required safety equipment is provided.

The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance is located near Phoenix in Chandler, Arizona, adjacent to the Firebird International Raceway. Guests are welcomed to come and watch. Gift certificates are available. Go to the company's Web site and enter to win the three-day Grand Prix Road Racing course.
