 Luxury Auto Events: Show off your ultra-sleek, suped-up racing machine as you participate in the much anticipated Navigator's Run. In 2006, Michael Beauchamp, president of the S.P.E.E.D automotive club, decided to take speed to the next level and founded Navigator's Run. The event is comprised of cross-country rallies, which showcase a wide spectrum of vehicles and drivers. This year's event kicks off on June 17 in Kansas City as 100 racing teams start their engines, eventually arriving in Wichita, Kansas five days later.
As you race towards the finish, experience exotic and luxury sports cars, attend VIP parties, and make pit stops at some of the West and Midwest's finest restaurants along the way. The event line-up includes celebrity appearances and endorsements by some of the industry's best. Highlights of the event include an exclusive party at Lamborghini of Las Vegas and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Texas Motor Speedway.
Participants' endurance will be challenged as they are faced with finding the shortest and most effective routes between five checkpoints. The winning team will be awarded a grand prize of $50,000. The team who comes in second will win $10,000, and the second runner-up will receive a prize of $5,000. Other participants will have a chance to receive giveaways including plasma TVs, Ferrari laptops, Bose audio equipment, Oakley apparel, prepaid gas cards, and more. To qualify for this race, a $5,000 entry fee is required.
