But Lexus was up for the challenge. They quickly gained an amazing reputation for great reliability and magnificent comfort, but what truly gave them the edge to outdo the competition was their unsurpassed customer service. The reliability of its vehicles and outstanding customer service revolutionized the luxury car market functions.
Luxury cars prior to Lexus were not known for their reliability; in fact, it was quite the opposite. Most brands had reliability problems and luxury cars were considered high maintenance vehicles. Lexus, being part of Toyota Motors, blended the reliability the Japanese manufacturer was notorious for with European elegance and refinement to create a totally new form of luxury.
If any car company has been able to find perfection, it is no doubt been done by Lexus. "The passionate pursuit of perfection" is what Lexus is all about.
