Electric Vehicles: Commuter Cars Corporation is the manufacturer of the battery-powered Tango T600. The Tango is 39 inches wide, 101 inches long, and six feet high. Four of these cars fit into one conventional parallel parking spot. Two Tangos fit side by side in a 12-foot-wide lane with more room to spare than one standard-size SUV.
The battery-operated vehicle offers the safety of a car and the maneuverability of a motorcycle. It is built around a roll cage that meets the standards of the National Hotrod Association of America. Along with its remarkable handling, the vehicle goes from zero to 60 mph in four seconds and does a standing quarter mile in 12 seconds, topping out at 120 mph.
The Tangoʼs body is made of carbon fiber. The vehicle currently goes 80 miles on a battery charge. It can be recharged to 80 percent in 10 minutes and fully recharged in three hours from a 200-amp charging station.
The Tango is the flagship model for the fledgling company. It is sold as a kit car that can be assembled in a day. The Tango T600 is available directly from Commuter Cars for $108,000. Batteries are included.

Rick is right! It is roomy on the inside and fits easily in "tight" parking spots. Hindsight: 20-20; I knew I should have gone with my other headline. It is an amazing vehicle. Thanks for dropping by, Rick.
