 Luxury Cars: Yesterday we saw the brand new 2010 Jaguar XFR and we were already drooling! Today, another premiere from the British manufacturer was unveiled: the new 2010 Jaguar XK. The new vehicle continues the tradition of the stylish 2+2 coupe and comes in three choices: XK, XK Portfolio and supercharged Jaguar XKR.
The new vehicle features the new AJ-V8 Gen III 5.0-litre capable of delivering 385 hp and 515 Nm of torque (380 lb ft) while the supercharged version of the same engine delivers an impressive 510 hp and 625 Nm of torque (461 lb ft). With these numbers the naturally aspirated version hits 60 mph in 5.2 seconds (100 km/h in 5.5 seconds). The supercharged version achieves 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds (100 km/h in 4.8 seconds). Both versions have a top speed of 155 mph or 250 km/h.
The 2010 Jaguar XK features a new design consisting in a new front end, new rear lights fitted with LED technology, a new rear body valance as well as body-colored side power vents. New chrome-detailed inserts can also be observed in the new design.
Inside, we find the high-quality of Jaguar: dark aluminum insertions, heated and cooled front seats which come as standard for the XK Portfolio and on XKR with the optional R Performance interior. The three-spoke steering wheel now has a leather-wrapped lower spoke while the door panels are even more luxuriously crafted than before featuring saddle-stitched lines while the leather door pulls introduce twin-needle stitching and a soft-feel interlayer.
The design of the car is completed by the seven new alloy wheel designs: the 18-inch seven-spoke Venus design on XK models, 19-inch 10-"V"-spoke Caravela wheel which come standard on XK Portfolio and optional on XK, the 19-inch 10-fan-spoke Artura design as options on all three versions, 19-inch ten-spoke Tamana design, 20-inch twin-five-spoke Kalimnos style and the 20-inch twin-seven-spoke R Performance Nevis option.
With the recent addition of new options Claret, Spectrum Blue, and Kyanite Blue, the stunning exterior color range for the new XK, XK Portfolio and XKR is extended to 15; two of which - Salsa and Kyanite Blue - are reserved exclusively for Jaguar XKR.
