The Rotary Club of Defiance, Ohio, is having its 19th annual Defiance Rotary Corvette Raffle, where one lucky contestant wins a 2009 two-door coupe red Corvette. What makes this contest a special event is that only 850 tickets will be sold. With the odds of winning most raffles or lotteries that offer big prizes being statistically ludicrous to count on being the winner, a one in 850 probability is a fighting chance.
A big JustLuxe shout out goes to Beckman Chevrolet Cadillac for its participation in the event. Proceeds are used to fund the work of various local charities and programs sponsored by the Rotary Club. Tickets for the yearly Defiance Rotary Corvette Raffle are on sale for $100 per ticket. The drawing is May 8, 2009, and the winner will be announced May 11 online.
