Luxury Cars: Presently, a brand new model is being developed by Rolls-Royce which it will position just below the Phantom and intends to introduce in 2010. It is foreseen to double the number of units produced by the ultra-luxury car manufacturer annually.

The latest model is called 'RR4′ internally and a concept variant will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show next month. It will be called the 200EX, a suffix designation that Rolls-Royce utilizes for experimental concept models, which, according to sources, the Geneva model will closely resemble the production version that will be introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September. The production version has no designation as of yet although there are talks that the carmaker will resurrect its historic "Silver Ghost" name tag.

The available shots of the car show that it has the Rolls-Royce lines in a smaller car. The 200EX comes with design features that include the elevated prow, long hood, short front overhang, sharply raked A-pillar and stylish tail all combining to produce a presence that is informal. The five-seater car also comes with a pair of suicide-style rear-hinged doors at the back and is propelled by an all-new V12 powerplant. Its dimensions are 5.399 meters long, 1.948 meters wide and 1.550 meters high, with a 3.295 meter wheelbase.

Overall, it is still shorter than the Phantom by 43.5 centimeters. Externally, the car is finished in "Darkest Tungsten" with highlights of silver satin finish on the hood, A-pillar and the LED headlights surrounds. The striking exterior appearance is rounded off by seven-spoke 20-inch wheels. The interior of the 200EX has been intentionally simplified where the controls are neatly sculptured and chrome accents utilized to emphasize the more essential functions. High-grade leather and natural wood trim and lots of mood lighting complete the cabin design. With regards to the RR4 production model, development is right on schedule despite the ongoing economic turmoil with first copies reaching showrooms the first three months of 2010 with a suggested European retail price of £180,000 ($258,000).
