Luxury Cars: The wraps on the Aston Martin One-77 supercar, which comes with a whopping price tag of €1.3 million, was reveiled at the Concorso d'Eleganza show held at the Grand Hotel Villa d'Este overlooking the coast of Lake Como in Italy. The supercar was completed only two days before the show. The concept supercar was displayed in complete form including the interior and running powertrain, not like previous concept models displayed at the Paris and Geneva motor show.
Air intakes with a slashed appearance integrated in the front wing and a large grill, with obvious inspiration from the classic Aston Martin, are some of the styling touches that go into the concept car. The rear section of the vehicle includes a large race car air diffuser and trim rear lights, with an unusual strip linking both sides. Dual tone colors highlight the interior, in addition to electric racing seats in white. The central console comes with leather and curved controls for the radio, satellite-navigation and air-conditioning system. A combination of carbon fiber and leather compose the inner sections of the doors. Although all 77 set for production have already been sold out, the One-77 is set to hit the markets in 2010.
