Moving 5,000 pounds of luxury along at 200 miles per hour takes a lot of muscle. Fortunately Bentley keeps improving its Continental GT Speed incrementally to keep it at the top of its game. The flagship version of the British automaker's ubiquitous luxury coupe debuted in 2007 with a massive 602 horsepower, but this latest version offers an even more impressive 633 horsepower from its twelve-cylinder engine—leaving even the previous Supersports version behind, and further distinguishing itself from rivals like the Rolls-Royce Wraith (with 624 hp) and Mercedes-AMG S65 Coupe (621 hp). So despite all that leather, wood, and deep-pile carpeting, the latest GT Speed will now rocket to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds en route to a top speed of 206 mph.

Along with the revised engine, Bentley has also introduced a new Black Edition of the Continental GT Speed. The special package blacks out the chrome and wheels for a more subdued look. It also offers the customer the opportunity to order the aerodynamic addenda in one of four different colors and upgrades the interior with carbon-fiber trim and two-tone leather.

The go-to luxury coupe among the rich and famous, the Continental GT is the model that put the Flying B marque back on the map upon its arrival in 2003 and has far and away been its most successful line. In addition to the GT coupe, the Continental has bred the GTC convertible and the Flying Spur sedan, and is offered with either a 4.0-liter V8 or 6.0-liter W12—both twin-turbocharged and driving all four wheels for superior traction in all conditions.
