Fractional Ownership:YachtSmart of North America offers a fractional ownership program that is akin to those offered with fractional ownership of private jets. There is a
one-time initial capital cost and then a monthly management fee thereafter. The only additional costs incurred are fuel and dockage fees when the ship is
docked away from its homeports of Annapolis and Miami. A full-time captain is provided along with insurance, dockage, maintenance, cleaning of ship, and seasonal movement. A mate and a chef are available as well as concierge services, ensuring that all necessities or requisites are handled tidily.
YachtSmart currently has a fleet of four luxury yachts. The yachts available are the 2002 115-Foot Benetti Classic, a Fairline Squadron 62, an Azimut 85, and a Bellissima. The Bellissima is a 2004 Azimut, and the designer is Carlo Galeazzi. It sleeps eight with its four cabins, and has room for a crew of four. The Benetti Classic has four lavish staterooms along with a cavernous sky lounge and a massive upper deck with a hot tub.
YachtSmart also offers financing options for its fractional ownership programs. See the company Web site
for complete details.
