Luxury Yachts: While Viking Sport Cruisers have been called extraordinary and super for years, the company is officially entering the superyachts marketplace with two 100-foot-plus entries. The much-anticipated 105 MY and the 130 MY will be launched in 2010 and 2011, respectively. The 105-footer sleeps 10 and has crew's quarters for six, and the 130 MY sleeps 12 and has accommodations for a crew of eight.

The new superyachts mark the fruition of a vision embraced when the partnership of Viking and Princess Yachts International was formed in 1995. The history and capabilities of both firms combined with the expanded shipyards of UK-based Princess Yachts make the alignment quite the dynamic duo.

From day one, Viking Sport Cruisers has been known for superior craftsmanship, high performance and extraordinary luxury. Princess Yachts International has launched more than 80 ships since its inception in 1964. Both long-range cruising yachts will be built at the PYI modern state-of-the-art shipyard in Davenport.

All Viking Sport Cruisers are certified by the U.S. National Marine Manufacturers. The NMMA-certification of quality is an assurance that all vital systems have been thoroughly performance-tested. Viking's boats also comply with the U.S. Coast Guard regulations and the construction standards set forth by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC).

The 105 MY is the largest yacht to date built at the Princess facility. The 105's master stateroom is located on the main deck. The other four staterooms are on the lower deck and include two full-beam VIP suites, a third stateroom, and a twin-berth cabin. Crew quarters are strategically positioned to maximize privacy. Engine options include a very powerful twin MTU 16V2000 M93s, which puts out 2,400 horsepower each.

Viking Sport Cruisers wants to be "out" and is very open about its desire to out-build, out-design, and outperform the competition - which makes for a company that is absolutely outstanding.
