Luxury Yachts: The Paladin Shadow is one hull of a deal with its
incredibly unique hauling power. It could be called
the "U-Hull" of the yachting world! Since the Paladin
Shadow's debut at the Ft. Lauderdale International
Boat Show in November 2005, it has garnered a lot of
attention from a wide variety of interested buyer
types. It is a multifaceted ship with potential uses
as broad and wide as prospective owners' imaginations
allow. While being shown at the International Boat
Show, it literally held my 2006 Christmas wish list on
it. On board was a 35-foot Eliminator ®; a 30-foot
Protector Tender®; a Mini Cooper®; a pair of Sea-Doo®
jet skis; a couple of Sea Kayaks®; and for the times
when traveling calls for hovering instead of sailing,
a four-seat helicopter. There was plenty of room left
for the partridge in the pear tree too!
A shadow boat's purpose is self-defined, being that
its purpose is to trail (or shadow) the main yacht.
The 170-foot boat could serve as a full-service repair
shop for a yacht or be turned into an extension of the
main boat. Although it is viewed primarily as a
utilitarian vessel; the options for usage are indeed
as varied as one's imagination.
Shadow Marine plans to add to its ensemble with the
Mystere Shadow, which is expected to be premiere by
the first quarter of 2006. It is sure to pique your
interest. Take a peek for yourself at
