The Netherlands-based shipbuilder Oceanco’s recent launch is the newest addition to the world’s 100 largest yachts list. With an overall length of more than 290 feet, the superyacht becomes the 41st largest in the world. The lucky owners are anticipating the delivery of their luxury vessel in April 2012.
Sam Sorgiovanni Designs styled the interior and the exterior of the 88.5-meter cruiser, known only by its yard code, Y707. There is one VIP suite and four double VIP cabins for guests. The larger VIP suite includes a lounge and two bathrooms. The owner’s master suite is palatial with a study, an owner’s lounge, a lobby, and a private deck with a whirlpool.
Along with a dedicated indoor 3D cinema area, there also is an outdoor oval pool with a height-adjustable floor, a jetted hot tub, and a sundeck. Additionally, there is large tender garage for storing automobiles and a fleet of water-sports equipment. Oceanco and Azure are the naval architects of the new superyacht, which is powered by two 3,600 kW MTU 20V M73L engines and has a maximum cruising speed at 20 knots.
