Luxury Vacation Quarters: How could a place of such radiant splendor be labeled so generically as the Mexico Mansion? Actually, no further fanfare is required for those who have experienced it. The Mexico Mansion is suitable for an extravagant getaway, a spectacular vacation or a grandiose social event. This 20,000-square-foot rental residence of precedence provides a full-service staff that includes a butler, a chef, maids and day and night waiters.

There are 12 bedroom suites, which include four master suites with views of the Acapulco Bay, multiple bars, dining rooms, and private terraces. Four Jacuzzis, two swimming pools, three wide-screen TVs and several stereo systems round out the sumptuous surroundings of this spacious five-level estate.

The Majestic Mansion is also a wonderful rental for vacationing in Acapulco. It is a tad smaller than the Mexico Mansion but equally opulent, as it accommodates up to 10 guests. There are five luxury suites, which include two master suites, and the mansion's service staff includes a butler, a chef and a maid.

Although, many guests never want to leave either mansion due to the splendid amenities, panoramic views and service provided by the diligent staffs, there are numerous activities to enjoy too. Bungee jumping, swimming with dolphins and horseback riding are available at the beach, while the nearby Acapulco Yacht Club offers fishing, waterskiing, parasailing, jet skiing, and boating. A stimulating round of golf can be played at the heralded Tres Vidas Golf Club. For sightseeing, check out the cliff divers of La Quembrada or visit the Fort San Diego Museum. The Enigma and the Palladium nightclubs fill the bill for stimulating nightlife. Fine dining, which also can be experienced "at home" a la private chef, is available at the Balkal restaurant, which is built into the side of a cliff overlooking the Acapulco Bay.

Either mansion is available for weekly rentals year round. Treat yourself to a virtual tour of the Mexico Mansion and the Majestic Mansion. Both truly are magnificent!
