A Look at the Weybridge Collection
Fractional Home Ownership: The Weybridge Collection provides fractional home ownership opportunities in artistically decorated single-family
residences located in Mexico, Utah, and New Mexico. The company's goal is to provide investors with all the perks of home ownership without any of the associated mundane madness. Local concierges are available to ensure all wants and needs of vacationing homeowners are addressed appropriately. Additionally, a cook, a housekeeper, and a gardener are included. Robert H. Glaze, founder and president of Weybridge, creates an art collection in each dwelling.
The firm is currently offering shared ownership in a 6,000 square-foot, four-bedroom abode in Santa Fe, New Mexico. There also is a one-bedroom detached guesthouse on the property. It is located just minutes from downtown Santa Fe. One-fifth ownership shares are for sale at $465,000 each. A one-fifth ownership share entitles the owner to 10 weeks of time annually. Condé Nest Traveler's 2006 Readers' Choice Award listed Santa Fe as second in top 10 U.S. cities as a destination. Travel + Leisure placed it in its 2007 top 10 U.S. and Canadian cities.
The Weybridge Collection has three additional properties located in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and a chalet at the Residences of
Snowmass Club in Aspen, Colorado. Fractional owners of any of these properties can participate in an exchange program that allows them to stay at Weybridge's other locations. Owners also have the option of selling their shares at current market value.
It is only the beginning for Weybridge, as there are plans to acquire properties in
Paris, Umbria,
Chicago, Carmel, the Napa Valley, and Charleston, SC.
