 Celebrity Real Estate: Nicolas Cage is leading the life of a man with two careers these days. The renowned actor of A-list ilk is panning out to be quite the producer in luxury real estate circles as well. The Trends section of Move.com, an online consumer guide for people before, during, and after changing residences, is reporting Mr. Cage to have no less than five prime properties listed for sale.
There is a 12,000-square-foot estate in Bel Air, Calif., with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms for $17.5 million. The Tudor-style mansion, which Cage purchased in 1998 from singer Tom Jones for $6.469 million, was originally offered at $35 million.
The star of more than 50 feature films—with a release schedule of upcoming films that is even more extensive than his real estate listings—has four other luxury properties on the market. There are two residences in New Orleans, one in Rhode Island, and another in Las Vegas, Nev. The manor for sale in Rhode Island is listed at $15.9 million, while the palatial 14,000-plus-square foot house in Las Vegas is up for sale at $9.49 million.
