Prince Trumps Trump at $135 Million List Price
Luxury Homes: The Rocky Mountain News recently reported that Prince Bandar bin Sultan of Saudi Arabia is selling his single-family residence, which is located in Aspen, Colorado, for $135 million. This is thought to be the highest listing price for a single-family residence in the U.S., topping Donald Trump's single-family residence in Palm Beach, Florida, which was listed at $125 million. Like many of us, a job change has prompted the prince to sell the property that he affectionately calls Hala Ranch.
The former Saudi Arabian ambassador to the U.S. is now the secretary general of the National Security Council for the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His new role, which is a senior position, calls for him to spend more time in Saudi Arabia. The prince, who currently owns two additional properties in the same area, is selling this residence only.
The spacious property sets on a mountaintop in the Starwood Ranch development. It has approximately 56,000 square feet of indoor living space. However, there is over 70,000 square feet of space when the outdoor decks are included. The home has 15 bedrooms and an indoor swimming pool. It also features an elevator and dumbwaiters along with tennis courts, horse stables, walking trails, ponds, and accommodations for workers and staff. The prince's entire layout of properties consists of 200 acres. The Hala Ranch estate takes up 95 acres. The house was built in 1991.
Prince Bandar's home will be advertised through Christie's Great Estates. Joshua & Company is the listing firm. Mr. Josh Saslove, the owner of the firm, is handling the listing.
