White Star Charters: See America's Cup
Exclusive Charters: For the first time in over 150 years, Europe will serve as the host to the America's Cup. The 32nd regatta extraordinaire will be held in Valencia, Spain. White Star Charters of London is offering lavish all-inclusive, exclusive one-day charters from April 1, through July 7, 2007, for the
Louis Vuitton Cup events and the America's Cup. These deluxe one-day fetes begin at noon with a champagne gathering and conclude no later than 6 p.m. Guests will gather at the mooring site, Real Club Nautico de Valencia, and then board either the White Star of London or the Elegant Star of London yacht and sail to an optimal viewing vantage point to observe the races.
A gastronomically delightful lunch of nine courses will be served along with a bottle of wine for each guest during the competitions. There is room for 10 guests per day event. The splendidly luxurious yachts can accommodate eight overnight passengers and up to 12 guests during the day. At the conclusion of the day's event, guests are returned to the Real Club Nautico for drinks prior to departing.
The Elegant Star of London is a 1995 Elegance 80 motor yacht that has four en suite cabins and a Jacuzzi for five on its fly bridge. The White Star of London is a 2000 Elegance 76 motor yacht with similar luxury amenities. Both ships have had recent major refits. The yachts also are available for various-length charters along the Mediterranean waters in Ibiza and Mallorca. All charters include a three-man crew.
Preceding the America's Cup is the Louis Vuitton Cup. The event has been the official precursor to the AC since 1983. Act 13 of the Valencia Louis Vuitton runs from April 3 to April 7. The first and second round of the Round Robin is April 16 to May 7. Semifinals are May 14 to May 24, and the Finals are from June 1 to June 12. America's Cup match races run from June 23 to July 7.
