Luxury Boats: View the inspirational footage of the world's fastest diesel powered superboat - the XSR48 - brought to you by SQUA.RE vision. Now hot on the market for £1.25million, this British built superboat from Lymington based XSMG Marine has recieved rapturous praise since its initial launch by HRH Prince Michael of Kent last year. Ranging to 48 foot, the boat is power-driven by two diesel engines, 2,000 horsepower, with a top speed of 158 km/h (85 knots). Features include full mood lighting, high-spec entertainment system with four 12 inch LCD screens, fridge and microwave. Described by Jeremy Clarkson as 'the most beautiful thing ever created by man', the ultra-iconic vessel is proving to be a major object of desire by the world's affluent market, where only 100 can be made per year.
