Modern Italian Classic: Itama Yachts SeventyFive

Luxury Yachts: In 1969, Italy's Mario Amati founded Itama Yachts to create a range of agile, powerful open motoryachts that married the latest engineering with timeless style. His elegant, speedy craft were an immediate success and the yachts quickly reached cult status. Amatis admirers, many of whom came from the international jet set, were won over by Itama's sleek shapes and the tried and tested reliability of the technology onboard. But what attracted them most was the refined and distinctive character of the blue and white open yachts, boasting sober and balanced class in every detail. Itama has evolved over the years, but its latest and largest model, the super-stylish SeventyFive, harkens back to Amatis original vision.

The original design features high bows, a spectacular curved profile and a distinctively sleek structure created by a slim central roof. Most striking of all is the enormous carbon fiber and glass windshield and retractable canopy. Large sliding sofas can be joined to form a vast horseshoe seating 12 people on deck. The layout includes three cabins and three baths below, as well as a twin crew cabin. Elegant materials are employed throughout, including natural teak and steel, wooden parquet floors, linen lacquered wall paneling and mosaic tiling for the bathrooms. With its twin 1823 hp MTU engines combined with Arneson ASD 14 drives, the yacht boasts peak speeds of up to 43 knots, while an upcoming limited edition model can hit 60.
