News & Trends: The new face and body of Moet & Chandon champagne is none other than newly wed actress Scarlett Johansson.
In a new series of ads, Johansson is elegantly airbrushed as she frolics with bottles of Moet & Chandon and accessories.
"I am honored to have been chosen as their ambassador and to make history with the brand, as the first celebrity face of champagne," Johansson said. "Moet and the movies both tell compelling stories and share authentic emotions with the world."
Moet and Chandon has long been served at red carpet events, making it a perfect fit for a film actress. The Golden Globe-nominated actress makes her debut as the first ever celebrity ambassador for the champagne house in a set of sultry new images snapped by renowned photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
Johansson frolics with explosive bottles in settings reminiscent of Hollywood's Golden Age, in lamé dresses and ice buckets filled with lilies.
Frédéric Cumenal, President of Moët & Chandon explains, "Scarlett Johansson
was the obvious choice as our ambassador because she, like Moët, has a magical story to tell and makes people dream. She is a true icon of celebration - refreshingly spontaneous, generous, glamorous and she lives life to the fullest both on-screen and off."
