Paddy Byng has been named Managing Director of Asprey Holdings Limited. They are the "makers of
fine jewelry, china, silver, leather, watches, rare books, polo kits, special commissions and items for the pleasure of giving."
Beginning February 1, Byng will oversee all aspects of the business, reporting to John Rigas, Chairman of the Board of Asprey. Mr. Rigas commented, "We are pleased to have found a leader with a well established reputation, experience in the luxury industry, and an inherent understanding of the British marketplace. We believe Paddy strongly shares Asprey's core values of refinement, innovation, superior quality, craftsmanship and timeless design, and will be a significant contributor and leader in the evolution of Asprey. We welcome him on board and look forward to working with him in the years to come."
Since 1781, Asprey London has been setting the standard for specialty London products and with experience at Smythson, Alfred Dunhill and Ralph Lauren, Byng is sure to carry on the tradition.
