Bernard Lackner has been named the new CEO of the exclusive Fisher Island Club. The upscale club and resort, which is located on a private beach community just off the coast of Miami, made the announcement this week.
Mr. Lackner brings a wealth of experience to his new position. For more than 20 years, he was vice president and general manager of the Hotel Plaza Athenee, in New York. Lackner also has held management positions at The Pierre Hotel, New York and Hotel George V in Paris. He served as a board member of the New York City Hotel Association as well. Lackner holds baccalaureate in international economics and financial management and has completed numerous management seminars at Cornell University.
