News & Trends: The Hotel Valencia Wedding Experience has come to a happy ending, joining together Bethany Ellison and Blake McKay in matrimony for the benefit of viewers as the first televised wedding on "San Antonio Living" on May 22, 2009.

The Hotel Valencia Wedding Experience began in February and drew to a close during an hour-long special that took viewers behind the scenes of the wedding plans and to the ceremony and reception itself, as well as the couple's glamorous exit from the luxurious Hotel Valencia, where the event was being held.

Viewers of the program had the opportunity to choose the best of San Antonia's winning wedding vendors, which are:

80 guests took part in the wedding celebrations, held inside Hotel Valencia's courtyard in front of a cascading waterfall, followed by cocktails on the hotel's terrace over-looking the River Walk before the couple's reception, which took place in the beautifully appointed Verona room. Sponsors of The Hotel Valencia Wedding Experience, estimated to be a prize worth somewhere above $30,000 include The Hotel Valencia, JustLuxe, Destination I Do Magazine and "San Antonio Living" on WOAI.

The special wedding episode, featuring footage of Bethany and Blake as they got ready for the ceremony from Hotel Valencia's luxurious Presidential Suite, and sophisticated and stylish Junior Suite, as well as highlights from the ceremony and reception, including the first dance, champagne toast and cake cutting, aired on May 22. "San Antonio Living" airs weekdays from 10-11 a.m. on 4 WOAI (NBC) and highlights from the special event can be viewed online at www.woai.com.
