News & Trends: Not all country stars are exactly admired for their sense of style. Female country stars have long been noted for having big hair and big makeup to back up their big voices. But that line of thinking need not apply to stars like Carrie Underwood.

Newly engaged Carrie recently gave fans some beauty tips on the 45th Annual American Country Music Awards.

The Entertainer of the Year Carrie Underwood revealed that she uses Moroccan oils to keep her hair shiny. She also told Cojo, the style interviewer what colors she prefers for makeup, saying, "As for makeup, Underwood says she's a pink and gold kind of girl. "I feel like I'm lucky. I kinda have a good skin tone for colors."

Carrie wasn't the only one who revealed some beauty secrets. Legendary Reba McEntire also spilled that she keeps her signature red locks shiny by taking Omega 3 oils.

The biggest surprise came from folk singer Jewel, who apparently does her own hair and makeup when she's on the road.

"I love doing it on the road. It's sort of calming and relaxing to do my hair and makeup. ... I can do the whole look. I can drag it out."

For better or worse, every woman has their beauty secrets, and they clearly work for these lovely ladies.
