"The Inaugural Arizona Balloon Classic" balloons will left off into the Arizona sky and compete in aviation "Hare & Hound" competitions. Depending on weather (prevailing winds), morning competition may also launch from another site and balloonist will score at the event site. Balloons may actually fly into the event!
50 colorful hot-air balloons will participate in thrilling mass ascension called "Fun Flights". Late November afternoons in Arizona are only one of a few regions where hot air balloons can fly in the afternoon sun. Photo taking is invited.
