Southern Hills Hospital is proud to host the Norris Foundation Las Vegas Hot Air Balloon Festival this Veteran's Day weekend from Friday, Nov. 11* through Sunday, Nov. 13, beginning at 6 a.m. each day located at 9300 W. Sunset Rd., Las Vegas. Community vendors, healthcare resources and balloon enthusiast activities will be available during the event. Festival proceeds from the balloon race rides benefit the Deaf Kids Funding Program, a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance for deaf children between the age of six and 25 with their educational and family needs (such as tuition and uniforms). Title sponsor Norris Foundation is an organization that "supports programs that advance better health and intellectual enlightenment through education, cultivation of the arts, individual responsibility, freedom and dignity." Festival admission is free.

Approximately 20 hot air balloon companies from across the nation will participate in daily hot air balloon races, a Saturday evening "Glow" and other balloon activities. Balloon rides will be available to the public during the balloon races (see cost information below; contact Adventure Balloons at 702.247.6905, space is limited). This is the first hot air balloon festival to be held at Southern Hills Hospital.
