The International Balloon Festival receives more than 300,000 attendees, who enjoy the presence of more than 200 hot air balloons, where more than 20 balloons are spectacular forms, is held for 4 days.

Balloons are excellent drivers led by world-renowned, who gather in the Parque Metropolitano de Leon of 337 hectares, where year after year since 2001 has increased the number of balloons participating from 27 to 40, 60, 80 , 90, 100, 200 to reach more than 200 + 10 balloons, making it the largest in Latin America.

The Balloon Festival is enriched with many activities throughout the day are organized as concerts, competitions, exhibitions and a dining area for the whole family.

Participants come to Leon from Germany, Spain, USA, Belgium, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Canada and Mexico being other countries, filled with excitement and joy to all attendees of all ages who enjoy the integrated into the family festival.
