The exhibition will include 8 to 10 new paintings. Niels Strobek, Danish, b. 1944 is one of Denmark's greatest living artists. Strobek's recent museum retrospective at the Nivaagaard Picture Gallery - a Danish art museum located north of Copenhagen by the Sound between Denmark and Sweden, was a successful exhibition reflecting the artist's skills and his reputation as the leading name in the field of Neorealism. Strobek's superbly realistically painted human figures, landscapes and still lifes are found in Museums in Denmark and in important private collections throughout the world. But visible reality is only interesting to Strobek insofar as it opens up to a deeper level of reality. By reaching out for the not immediately comprehensible layers of existence, Strobek strives toward putting order into life's chaotic appearance.
