Essen Motor Show

In its first year at the Essen Motor Show, the Motor Sport Arena was a first-rate crowd-puller. It will become even more spectacular in 2009. Not only the visitors but also the organizers are in agreement: The Motor Sport Arena with its indoor racecourse was a real sensation at the Essen Motor Show 2008. Fundamental changes are imminent in order to ensure that this not only remains so in 2009 too but is also even improved: The Motor Sport Arena will become larger and even more spectacular. It is planned to extend the racecourse and to increase the spectator capacities considerably with additional grandstands. The objective is to give the visitors the possibility of diving into the world of motor sport even more intensively and of experiencing even more exciting driving demonstrations live at close quarters.

At the Essen Motor Show, even experienced handymen can still get a kick for new ideas. Tuning is experiencing a hype at the moment, above all on TV. Ever more people, including women, tune their car and are interested in everything that is possible in the field of tuning. And there seem to be no limits here, apart from what is authorised for road traffic. For the Essen Motor Show, tuning is a central fair section in which it sets standards. Time and again, it succeeds in repeatedly arousing the enthusiasm even of those tuners who visit the fair regularly. For over half of the visitors to the Essen Motor Show (57 % in 2008), tuning is the main reason for visiting the fair.
